Pardon me for asking, but how come you no longer work in the game industry?

Was it your own decision to quit, or was it the work of higher powers?

Do you have any intention of getting back in the industry?

- Anders "Sion" Nissen

The company I worked for had financial problems and let a lot of people go. I'm hoping to get back in the industry at some point.

I've got another question: What does Machaira mean, or what is the origin?

Hmm, origin - back in the days of the BBS, I needed a nick when a friend asked me to be an admin on his board. I looked all over my house for inspiration. Eventually pulled out a bible condordance and started looking up words in Greek. I settled on the Greek word for "sword". I like swords in many aspects - actual swordplay (I'm not a member of the SCA, but that would be cool), swords are used in fantasy games like RPGs, which I love. It also sounds (the way I pronounce it anyway) and looks pretty cool, IMO. Check it out here. I pronounce it ma-ki'-ra (long i, short a), which is close enough to the proper pronunciation I guess. :)
