Files:GUITutorial_warn.gif The Game Programming Wiki has moved! Files:GUITutorial_warn.gif

The wiki is now hosted by GameDev.NET at wiki.gamedev.net. All gpwiki.org content has been moved to the new server.

However, the GPWiki forums are still active! Come say hello.

Wow Doug! Your OpenGL 3D Textures tutorial is great! You say you're new to tutorial writing... well you certainly have a knack for it! Nice work :)

The best place to get feedback would be the forums; why not stop by and tell everyone about your new tutorial with a post in the Content Issues forum?

Also, it would be great if you'd edit your user page so that we could learn a little bit about you. You can then link to your user page from the tutorials you write, if you wish. It's a good way to get some visibility for your personal website, projects, and whathaveyou.

Thanks again for the great tutorial!

Hey Doug. The new tutorial you're working on looks great! I made a few minor changes to the formatting; I hope you don't mind. I modified the images to display as thumbnails, as they were forcing the screen to widen such that scrolling was required to read the tutorial text. Also, I moved one of your code comments, for the same reason.

When adding content to the wiki, it's always good to bear in mind the fact that some users still browse at 800x600 (I'm at 1280x1024, but I know there are people using 800x600 out there). Code blocks and images can often force the page to stretch beyond 800 pixels in width, which makes it difficult for 800x600 users to read.

Anyway, thanks again for your excellent contributions :)

Don't mind the changes at all, if I did I wouldn't be posting to a wiki. :) Good point about the res, I use 1600x1200 so it looked just fine to me. Wow, 800x600, haven't used that in a good 5 years or more.
