The wiki is now hosted by GameDev.NET at wiki.gamedev.net. All gpwiki.org content has been moved to the new server. However, the GPWiki forums are still active! Come say hello. Zingus is a nickname that came from many long years being known as Zingo on forums to do with the Genesis games engine and Flash, until I discovered that there was a Taxi company in the UK with that name :( [edit] About ZingusA programmer by nature, and a web developer by default. Most of the time the Zingus has to create boring commercial database driven sites, but there is the occasional ray of light that shines when a job comes along to do some real programming (offline development stuff). Having spent a year helping manage the production and code of a commercial game, He has a little experience in the process. Far too often to be found clicking his mouse buttons frantically and pressing WASD - he also plays games. Usually only for research purposes - of course ;) [edit] InterestsGames. Programming - many areas. C/C++ and Euphoria languages are the main ones. 3D design - 3DSMax, Milkshape, SketchUp, Bryce and many others.
