Far to much information

You've reached User:Diploid, I'm a 2nd year eng student and ever since grade 9 i've always had it as a goal (one of those childish things ) of at some point making a directx game. It seemed the holy grail of programming back then, ever beyond my reach. Anyways I never got the hang of C++ and so decided to go with what I'm good at and learnt VB.net which works great, except there are very few directX tutorials online. But then i found GPW and, to my suprise, a plebia of VB.net, so I'm here to help out in whatever small way I can.

What i want to do if i ever get a chance (AKA engineering is to much work)

  • Make a Qbasic section (the "hello world" of game design)
  • Learn DirectX and all it's components
