The wiki is now hosted by GameDev.NET at wiki.gamedev.net. All gpwiki.org content has been moved to the new server. However, the GPWiki forums are still active! Come say hello. This page is far from complete, go ahead and write some more!
You can extend this page by editing it. Wings 3D is a subdivision modeler inspired by Nendo and Mirai from Izware. It is possible to assign materials, vertex color, UV coordinates and textures. Wings can render directly in OpenGL and yafray and has also import and export functions for the most common file formats. Sadly there is no support in Wings for doing animations. You can of course animate Wings-made models in e.g. Blender though. [edit] Platforms
