(Un)Direct linking

I reverted the links back to the Home Page of the comics, rather than linking directly to the comics. I prefer this method because: 1) It should be easier to maintain if the comic restructures their site. 2) General Netiquette leads me to shy away from deep linking.

I propose linking directly to the comic page only when there is no easy to find link from the domain link.

I agree, Wade; good plan. --Ryan Clark 12:17, 13 February 2008 (EST)

But how about the sorting? I think sorting the titles alphabetically will help. 124.217.91.61 03:40, 14 February 2008 (EST)

How about placing 2 links:

  • a link to the site and (which is expected to stay as long as the site stays alive)
  • having a link to the comics (which will be helpful to others for faster browsing).

Anyways, user can report if the "direct" link to the comics is broken. 124.217.91.61 04:42, 14 February 2008 (EST)

True; perhaps we could create a table with the comic name, a link to the main page, and a link to the comic page. Also, alphabetizing is definitely a good idea! --Ryan Clark 12:27, 14 February 2008 (EST)

Gah! Sorry, I didn't notice the sorting... I've re-sorted them. Yes, a table sounds like a good format (feature request for MediaWiki: option/flag to automatically sort table rows :) ). --Wade 13:14, 14 February 2008 (EST)

Site links (with no comics?)

I pretty much believe that Just PressA "had" a space for their web comics. Can somebody give the link, please? 124.217.91.61 04:27, 14 February 2008 (EST)

I can't see a link to comics of JustPressA either. 202.138.134.149 19:20, 14 February 2008 (EST)
