Cultures
Hi Jack. It sounds like you should try Cultures[1] by Funatics Software.
It's not exactly stone age (it's vikings), but it features a lot of your requests:
- Unique naming of the villagers.
- You assign the men to a profession like lumberjack, mushroom collector, building constructor or priest. You can then assign them work.
- When they've worked for a while they become masters of their trade. It is then possible to educate others in that trade to quickly get more masters.
- The villagers has certain needs. Besides food and sleep they want to have a house to live in, have a husband/wife, religious worshipping, etc.
- To get more villagers, you assign a married man or woman to have a baby. In a while a baby arrives, which slowly grows to adolescence and eventually becomes adult and can then contribute to the society.
- Various materials/goods are featured in the game. Examples of building materials is stones, wood and clay. You can produce comsumer goods, which enhances your villagers efficiency, like tools, shoes and pottery.
- Warfare against other tribes is also possible. You need to construct weapons and train soldiers.
It is something like this you request?
Yours faithfully
