Soren joined Firaxis in 2000, after completing BA in History and an MS in Computer Science at Stanford. A former Electronic Arts employee, the focus of Soren's graduate work was on adaptive algorithms and human-computer interaction. Soren is the lead designer for Sid Meier's Civilization IV; he programmed and co-designed Sid Meier's Civilization III with Jeff Briggs, and was voted "Most Civilized" employee in 2003. |
