Based off of the "Real Definition of an MMO", the idea here is to create an action-adventure style MMO. Unlike an MMORPG, such a game would exist without levels or specialized 'points' for character improvement. Instead, the idea is a game in the style of the three dimensional Zelda games for the Nintendo 64 (or Twilight Princess, which appeared on the Wii and Gamecube). The players are set in an immersive 3d world with basic equipment. Completing tasks or making purchases in game allows the player access to better quality or specialized gear, and a limited carrying capacity prevents longterm players from gaining too great an advantage over newcomers. Indeed, even a player with only starting equipment would be able to complete any challenge they were skilled enough to take on. The only limitation is their ability to control their character effectively and their ability to reach the challenge site. While equipment would play a role in the player's odds of success, the active combat system (players would enter a "searching pack" animation while on their inventory screens) and equal base abilities of player characters would ensure that a player's skill is more important than how many hours they are willing to spend in mindless simple combats. Additionally, a number of purely cosmetic add-ons for characters could be provided, as well as several other "gold sinks" in order to keep the monetary power of older users in check.
