The wiki is now hosted by GameDev.NET at wiki.gamedev.net. All gpwiki.org content has been moved to the new server.

However, the GPWiki forums are still active! Come say hello.

Welcome to the Game Programming Wiki. After you have signed up for an account you should really fill in your user page to give us some information about yourself. Feel free to give information about your programming background, projects you are working on or anything else you desire.

You can reach your user page by clicking on your username at the top of any wiki page when logged in. This will take you to User:<your username>. You may also wish to create a journal to periodically write in. The convention is to start you journal at User:<your username>/Journal.

To give you a place to start for your user page, the following template is given. Feel free to copy it over to your own user page and fill out as much or as little of the information as you like. Also, you are not restricted to this template. You can add any information here you like.

To see examples of existing user pages, check out the users page. You can also add your own page to the list after you've filled in a bit of your user page.
