Source code for a pixel smooth tile scrolling RPG Nintendo style engine.

I once attempted to make a full RPG game, but thought the better of it after a while. However, I coded what I did quite neatly and it also worked quite neatly. So I thought, "Let's give it to the community." I learned quite a lot from Lucky's example RPG, so maybe this one of mine can help others.

Next to showing how you can make a smooth scrolling tile-engine and animation in DirectDraw, it also shows how to use the GammaControl (and do fades), and play midis. Also, it shows how you could make an editor to create layered tilemaps.

Hope you can learn something from this unfinished project.
