Common Lisp
From GPWikiCommon Lisp is a language in the Lisp family with several major implementations for various platforms, an official specification, and the largest body of libraries and tools of any surviving Lisp dialect. [edit] Success StoriesWhile not commonly suggested for game development, there is one famous example: Naughty Dog created both of their famous game series (Crash Bandicoot and Jak And Daxter) using Allegro CL to create two Lisp-like languages for developing the games (not by developing the games directly in Common Lisp). Lisp was abandoned when Naughty Dog was purchased by Sony. [edit] Online resources[edit] Implementations |
